About
Hello!
I'm Sara, or Havoc (she/they), the chaotic creative behind
BlackeHavoc Studios.
I'm a disabled, queer, Autistic artist based in Pittsburgh, PA.
I express myself through unique illustrations, fan art, and other creations.
I'm inspired by how I experience and resonate with the world.
My work reflects special interests and varying themes of nature, fantasy, pop culture, the occult, and a dark sense of humor.
I primarily work in traditional and digital illustration,
but I love to experiment with watercolor, acrylics, and print-making. Production is part of my creative process.
A majority of my work is printed and cut by hand.

All of my designs are crafted with imagination, passion, and attention to detail.
I like to say my art style is like my personality:
weird, queer, and always authentic.

“Passion has little to do with euphoria and everything to do with patience.
It is not about feeling good.
It is about endurance.
Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: pati. It does not mean to flow with exuberance.
It means to suffer.”
~ Mark Z. Danielewski, House of Leaves
